Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, others led $2.6 M secured by digital healthcare platform Clinikally

A new round of funding totalling $2.6 million has been secured by the digital healthcare platform Clinikally from Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, Goodwater Capital, Sequoia Scout Fund, and Rebel Fund.

Numerous eminent angel investors, including Arash Ferdowsi, Kunal Shah, Austen Allred, Qasar Younis, Alagu Periyannan, Tanay Tandon, Deepika Bodapati, and James Beshara, also contributed to the funding.

It was a member of the summer 2022 Y Combinator batch.

Acne, hair loss, hyperpigmentation, eczema, rosacea, and melasma are just a few of the conditions for which Clinikally provides individual clinical needs for patients. The company was founded in late 2021 by Arjun Soin. The business has also introduced a feature that creates automated treatment plans from diagnostics and questionnaires tailored to specific conditions.

The Gurugram-based business states that it has provided services to over 450,000 users in 500 cities.

With regard to products, Clinikally’s products compete with or overlap with those of 1mg, Netmeds, and Pharmeasy. For teleconsultations, Practo, MediBuddy, and Apollo Online offer both products and teleconsultations.

Its revenue sources include B2C, or multi-brand online pharmacy and telehealth, and B2B2C, or a private label only sold at brick-and-mortar clinics.

Earlier than this, Clinikally had raised $500,000 in July 2022 and received backing from people like Jon Oringer, the CEO and founder of Shutterstock, and his Parento Holdings company, as well as Sumant Sinha, the founder of ReNew Power. As of the most recent funding round, founder and CEO Soin owned more than 90% of the business.
