13 companies for Scaleup Accelerator selected by GreenHouse Capital, Microsoft
The 13 businesses from East and West Africa chosen to participate in the Scaleup Accelerator Programme have been revealed by GreenHouse Capital and Microsoft.
Microsoft and GreenHouse Labs teamed together earlier this year to develop a pre-Series A accelerator programme aimed at entrepreneurs aiming to expand into new markets.
The six-week programme seeks to give innovators access to new markets, technological infrastructure, technical skills, and investment options to help them expand their businesses. It all culminates in a demo day when they may pitch their ideas to potential investors.
Ourpass, One Health, GetEquity, Oystr, Chekkit, Eight Medical, Herconomy, Pharmarun, and Mobiele are among the nine companies chosen from Nigeria. BuuPass, Gobeba, and Zydii are all Kenyan, while Tanzania’s Afya Bora rounds out the list.
Twelve instructor-led seminars, ten workshops, and three-panel discussions will be part of the programme. Each session is designed to assist entrepreneurs in scaling and raising following rounds of investment.
