60-minute clothes delivery app Slikk raised $300K Pre-seed funding
An app that delivers clothes in 60 minutes, targeted at Gen Z Better Capital led the $300K pre-seed round for Slikk, which also included participation from Untitled Ventures.
According to a press release from the company, the funds will be utilized to add over 100 brands, establish a large-format dark store, and increase delivery coverage to 70% of Bengaluru’s pin codes. The startup also intends to grow to include beauty, personal care, and home décor in addition to expanding into other Indian cities.
Under the direction of Akshay Gulati, Slikk regularly releases new styles so that users can keep up with the newest fashions. Slikk brings the latest trends straight to its clients’ doorsteps, with new styles dropping in every week to keep up with the quickly evolving fashion scene.
The platform will soon expand to additional cities after making its debut in Bengaluru.
Market research projects that the Indian apparel market will grow from $9.90 billion in 2023 to $28.84 billion in 2030, with the fast fashion segment accounting for the majority of this growth, with an expected $105.50 billion.
