$650k Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) launched by East Ventures, Temasek

East Ventures and Temasek Foundation have introduced the Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) in Indonesia.
The competition gives startups and business owners a stage on which to present their environmentally friendly approaches to problems and efforts to counteract the consequences of climate change.
Teams that compete can receive a total prize pot of 10 billion rupiahs (about $650,000 USD) to test their ideas across the nation.
The forthcoming contest will concentrate on four primary ecological issues: marine resources, food and agriculture, mobility, and renewable energy.
Up to May 26th, there are still accepting applications for the CIIC. Teams that have “built the pilot to produce a minimal viable product with the purpose for commercialization” are qualified to participate in the competition.
By June, the finalists will be revealed, and the grand finale is scheduled for September.
A white paper on how Indonesia’s healthcare system may be enhanced through genomics was just published by East Ventures.
