ESIM marketplace Airalo raised $60 M Series B funding from e& capital
The Singapore-based eSIM marketplace, Airalo, revealed on Tuesday that its $60 million Series B financing round had been completed successfully.
With this investment, Airalo has raised $67.3 million in total funding, led by e& capital, the investment division of e&, the global technology group, the company said in a statement.
The esteemed group of investors that also took part included Antler Elevate, Liberty Global, Orange, T.Capital, Rakuten Capital, Singtel Innov8, Telefónica Ventures, Sequoia Capital India, and Southeast Asia’s (now known as Peak XV Partners) Surge, KPN Ventures, and I2BF Global Ventures.
According to Airalo, this broad group of investors demonstrates how the industry as a whole recognizes Airalo’s groundbreaking work in lowering the cost of international connectivity for tourists from all over the world.
According to the statement, this sizeable capital infusion will support Airalo’s expansion goals, which include growing its user base to millions, strengthening its global staff, and launching Airalo Partners, a cutting-edge connectivity option for companies and organizations.
