Lenskart’s Neso Brands led $4 M raised by omnichannel eyewear Le Petit Lunetier
Le Petit Lunetier, an omnichannel eyewear company based in Paris, has raised $4 million in funding, led by Neso Brands, a division of the Lenskart eyewear company.
In addition to establishing a presence in Europe and speeding up its retail growth, the company intends to use the funds to launch the brand in Lenskart’s key markets in Asia and the Middle East.
Peyush Bansal, CEO of the LensKart Group, and Bjorn Bergstrom, CEO of Neso Brands, will join the board of directors of Le Petit Lunetier. Neso Brands will make comparable investments in additional European brands that will be distributed through Lenskart in India and South East Asia.
Le Petit Lunetier is a brick-and-mortar business that was also co-founded in 2015 by Jérémie Encaoua and an optometrist named Elie Attias. The company, which has 16 locations throughout France, including a brand-new store in Paris, has seen significant growth in recent years.
One of the largest seed rounds for a startup, Neso Brands raised over $100 million in May 2022. Alpha Wave Global, Temasek, KKR, and Softbank are some of its investors.
