Medical technology startup Larkai Healthcare raised $500K Seed funding
The medical technology startup Larkai Healthcare has raised $500K in additional government grants and through a seed funding round led by QI Ventures, FAAD Network, and RTAF.
According to a press release from Larkai Healthcare, the money will be used for technology improvements and strategic investments to expand its sales verticals.
Larkai Healthcare, a biomedical company with creative solutions that can effect change, was co-founded in 2020 by Pritam Dhalla and Abhilash Chakraverty. It offers a 15-second early-stage heart impulse and valvular disease diagnostic device, an intelligent inhaler cap that minimizes medication waste during the treatment of pulmonary tract disorders or asthma, and an affordable, lightweight disinfection tunnel.
The company, headquartered in Bhubaneswar, claims that its goal is to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to healthcare so that anyone, anywhere, at any time, can access it. With its dedication to providing quick, accurate diagnosis through its cutting-edge AI technology, the company closes the gap between diagnosis and treatment.
Across a range of industries and regions, FAAD Network makes early-stage startup investments. FAAD, which has over 2,000 Angel, HNI, and VC investors, has invested in more than 75 startups. Over 55% of its portfolio companies have received follow-on rounds of funding.
