Notable individual investors like Ghazal Alagh, Roman Saini, Sumit Jalan, Ajay Aggarwal, Bahram N Vakil, Vinod Rustagi, Amit Rathi, and Sanjit Advani also supported the round.

In January 2024, the Noida-based startup raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round headed by Venture Catalysts, an early-stage investment firm.

Kidbea was founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammad Hussain, Aman Kumar Mahto, and Ankita Rani. The company creates and markets bamboo-led clothing and toddler care items. With a focus on comfort, breathability, and sustainability, its product line includes rompers, onesies, nightwear, newborn necessities, and accessories.

The business has been growing its omnichannel presence and currently generates Rs 100 crore in recurring revenue annually. It recently entered important urban markets with the opening of exclusive brand stores in Pune, Hyderabad, and Indore.

The new funding will be utilized to expand its offline retail presence and improve distribution. Over the next 12 to 24 months, Kidbea intends to open more than 200 multi-brand stores and more than 100 exclusive brand outlets nationwide. Additionally, the business will make investments in new product development and category expansion.

Kidbea won the 2025 Best Kids Brand award and was listed among India’s Fast 42 brands.

The company’s goal is to develop a children’s brand that is driven by sustainability and has a growing online and offline presence.
