Brain health platform Ivory raises $1 M Seed funding from Draper Associates, others

Brain health platform Ivory has raised $1 million in a seed funding round from Draper Associates, SAGE Venture Fund, MoSJE, IFCI Ventures, and SIDBI. It was also featured on Shark Tank India last year.
The Mumbai-based startup had previously raised $500K from Capital A in February 2024 and $1 million in a funding round co-led by IIM-A Ventures and Capital A in April of last year.
According to a press release from Ivory, the money raised will be used to improve product offerings, strengthen the technology stack, and increase clinical capabilities—particularly in developing scalable, evidence-based solutions.
Ivory is a brain health startup that was co-founded in early 2023 by Rahul Krishnan and Isaac John with an emphasis on proactive cognitive care and early detection. The platform assists people in preserving and improving their cognitive well-being by fusing neuroscience, neuropsychology, and data-driven interventions.
Through its app, the company provides individualized brain health solutions and clinical-grade cognitive assessments, allowing users to monitor and improve their cognitive health. A multidisciplinary clinical team from the fields of neuroscience, neurology, general medicine, and neuropsychology supports it.
By making cognitive screening available, trackable, and a component of standard preventive care, Ivory is filling a significant void in India’s healthcare system. Additionally, it has been growing its alliances throughout the healthcare industry. Most recently, it worked with Metropolis Healthcare to introduce the TruHealth Mind & Body package, an integrated preventive health service that combines cognitive tests based on neuroscience with pathology diagnostics.
Global platforms like Cogstate, Altoida, Pearson, BrainCheck, and Linus Health may be direct or indirect competitors of the company. It also faces competition from more conventional pen-and-paper tests like the ACE-III, MMSE, and MoCA.
