AI startup Dubpro.ai raised $500K Seed funding from Venture Catalysts
Venture Catalysts contributed $500k to the seed round of AI startup Dubpro.ai. In the round, Anicut Capital, 9Unicorns, JJFO, and FirstCheque were also involved.
Dubpro.ai, founded by Ishan Sharma and Rishikesh, provides advanced AI-driven dubbing solutions to help creators and companies localize their video content. Dubpro.ai is a platform that combines artificial intelligence and human expertise to provide high-quality localization of vernacular content, which was previously unaffordable due to time-consuming and costly procedures.
“We are extremely excited to work with leading investors and a passionate team to build generative AI capabilities in Indic languages that could unlock a great potential for video content being available across all vernacular languages from Education to Entertainment content,” said Sharma, founder & CEO of dubpro.ai.
According to the platform, realistic dubbing experiences can be obtained at a scalable cost point, guaranteeing both affordability and efficiency. The human experts at Dubpro.ai carry out more than ten quality checks with a focus on quality assurance.
$250K to $2 million is invested in early-stage startups by Venture Catalysts. It is present in 55 cities across 9 nations. It recently headed Bandhoo’s funding round, a proptech startup.
