AlphaWave Global, 8i Ventures led $3.5 M funding received by Revise
Revise, a programming layer for nonfungible tokens (NFTs), has secured $3.5 million in a round-headed by AlphaWave Global and 8i Ventures. Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, Utsav Somani, partner at AngelList, and Rahul Chaudhary, co-founder of Treebo, were among the angel investors in the round. The financing was also backed by Bharat Founders Fund, a collection of founders and senior executives from many firms.
The monies will be utilised to hire more employees and expand the company.
Anil Dukkitpatty and Raunaq Vaisoha established Revise in January 2022. They previously launched Elemential Labs, a blockchain business that collaborated with big names like the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and ICICI Bank.
Revise provides developers with the tools they need to programme NFTs and interface with apps and data. This transforms NFTs from static pictures to dynamic objects that respond to real-world events and applications.
Developers can add a governance layer to NFTs that allows creators to audit changes depending on the programming.
