Anzisha Prize awards $40k in prize money to four African startups
The Anzisha Prize, which honors winners for their ability to successfully transform their businesses, has named four African entrepreneurs as its winners.
Recently, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the annual Anzisha Prize final was held. Mathias Yabe, Nzinga Antonio, Sharon Alyorneku, and Ivo Bonfirm emerged victorious overall.
In addition to receiving US $10,000 each, the winners get access to a full range of support services, such as networking opportunities, training, mentoring, and coaching.
“We are thrilled to announce the winners for this fellowship round,” said Dave Tait, senior director for entrepreneurial education programmes at the Anzisha Prize. “These young entrepreneurs are the future of Africa’s economic growth, development and job creation. Their dedication, creativity, and resilience are truly inspiring.”
