DeepTech IoT startup Datoms raised $1.2 M Pre-series A funding from Yournest VC
A pre-Series A round led by Yournest Venture Capital has raised $1.2 million (roughly Rs 10 crore) for Datoms, an Indian industrial deeptech IoT (Internet of Things) startup for OEMs.
Its product offering will be strengthened by the funding.
The Bhubaneswar-based startup, co-founded by Amiya Samantaray, Nataraj Sahoo, Amrit Biswal, and Asish Sahoo, has created a connected operations cloud that unifies machine operations, people, and processes onto a single platform.
The platform makes it possible for industries with high labor costs—like mining, ports, construction, warehousing, and agriculture—to increase productivity and automate a number of tasks associated with activity planning and asset maintenance.
The startup’s early backers include Prateek Gera, Saroj Mishra (co-founder of Tazapay and Bayfront Capital Advisors), and Mind-tickle and Oloid AI founder Mohit Garg. Ridik Capital PTE Ltd.
Working with more than 100 customers worldwide, Datoms currently has offices in Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar.
