Edtech platform YoLearn.ai raised undisclosed Seed funding from ABP Education

In a seed fundraising round headed by ABP Education, the education division of ABP Group, voice-first AI teaching platform YoLearn.ai raised an undisclosed sum.

The Noida-based business had previously raised $500,000 at a $5 million valuation in a pre-seed fundraising round. A number of angel investors participated in the round, which was co-led by White Swan Global and DataAlpha.ai.

In addition to the cash, ABP Education will help YoLearn.ai with distribution, marketing, and content as the business seeks to offer individualized AI coaching to Indian K–12 children.

Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning, two ABP Group firms, will collaborate with YoLearn.ai as part of the agreement to transform their textbooks into content-aligned AI instructors via Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai. The books that students use in class will provide them with access to the tutors.

With potential access to about 100 million students, the alliance encompasses a network of about 25,000 institutions. With a longer-term objective of offering individualized AI learning to 250 million K–12 students in India, the partners hope to reach 150 million kids and educate over 1.5 lakh instructors in AI-enabled classroom education.

YoLearn.ai, which Kirti Prakash Mishra founded in January 2025, enables students to speak with an AI tutor by scanning a code in a textbook. The platform covers 22 Indian languages and is compatible with Hindi, English, and other regional languages.

Through an interactive sketchpad, the AI tutor offers voice-based responses, step-by-step solutions, and diagrams. Additionally, it forecasts scores, gives parents updates, offers practice exams, and assesses answers based on board exam marking trends. State boards, ICSE, and CBSE are supported on the site.

Along with more than 50 AI-assisted tools for lesson preparation, worksheets, assignments, assessments, quizzes, and classroom presentations, YoLearn.ai also provides teachers with a Co-Teacher Avatar tailored to their teaching style. Dashboards pertaining to learning outcomes, areas of weakness, utilization, and student development are available to school leaders.

The startup faces competition from companies like SiglQ.AI, Fermi.AI, Arivihan.AI, CK-12, and MagicSchool.Lytmus.AI and AI.
