Egypt launched ed-tech startup support initiative
In an effort to promote innovation and accelerate the expansion of significant startup projects, Giza Systems Foundation (GSF), the corporate social responsibility division of Giza Systems, and EdVentures, a corporate venture capital firm with an emphasis on ed-tech, have partnered.
While EdVentures, a ground-breaking VC firm with an emphasis on ed-tech, was founded in 2017 and is housed under the publishing company Nahdet Misr Group, GSF was founded in 2013 with the goal of utilizing cutting-edge technological solutions to empower marginalized communities.
With this commitment, the two organizations will pool their knowledge and assets to support and grow social startups, fostering an atmosphere that will foster their expansion and increase their beneficial impact on society.
This is not your typical partnership, as both parties agree to share their pipelines and promote an active exchange of resources and information.
Among the program’s many noteworthy features are investor matchmaking and the provision of startups with the necessary tools for investment readiness. This guarantees that startups are ready to take advantage of funding opportunities. Additionally, specially designed training sessions with an emphasis on entrepreneurship will impart vital abilities and knowledge to enable entrepreneurs to succeed. Additionally, it provides expert mentoring sessions one-on-one.
“We are thrilled to embark on this collaborative journey with Giza Systems Foundation,” said Dalia Ibrahim, founder and CEO of EdVentures. “By combining our strengths and resources, we can create a powerful ecosystem that supports social startups and helps them thrive. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to driving innovation and making a positive difference in the community.”
