FireCompass secured $7 M from Silicon Valley investors
FireCompass, an automated platform for ethical hacking, has secured $7 million in a fresh round headed by Silicon Valley investors Cervin and Athera Venture Partners (formerly Inventus Capital), who were joined by current backer BIF (Bharat Innovation Fund).
According to FireCompass, the money will be used to hire new employees and grow its operations in India, the US, and other foreign markets.
FireCompass, a company founded in 2019 by Bikash Barai and Priyanka Aash, protects businesses from data breaches by continually monitoring deep, dark, and surface webs with artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. Additionally, it offers an answer for cybersecurity readiness, including cybersecurity maturity and breach readiness.
The firm with offices in Bengaluru and Boston received $1.89 million in seed investment from Bharat Innovation Fund and Sansar Capital in 2020.
In its customer list, FireCompass includes companies including Sprint (which is now part of T-Mobile), Security Innovation, Nykaa, Manthan and Larsen, and Turbo.
