Goa, a great destination for youngsters to come and innovate new ideas says Roopa Ganguly
Smt. Roopa Ganguly, MP Rajya Sabha along with 13 other MPs visited Goa on 23rd January 2021 as part of the Parliamentary Committee on IPR. The visit was arranged for them to visit Goa and understand the measures that have been taken to promote IPR in the state.
Roopa was invited to Don Bosco College of Engineering which hosts FiiRE, and Goa State Innovation Council (GSIC). She interacted with the students, and faculty of Don Bosco College of Engineering. She spoke to them about the importance of IPR. She then interacted with start-ups incubating with FiiRE. Goa is a great destination for youngsters to come and innovate new ideas said, Roopa Ganguly. She also visited the GSIC prototyping lab to take a first-hand look at the projects being developed there.
The staff of FiiRE through their presentation to Smt. Roopa Ganguly explained their role in promoting and facilitating IPR in the Goan ecosystem. A plan to host an ideation camp by inviting start-ups from across the country to Goa was discussed.
