‘Impact Startup Award’ won by Archi’s Academy
Web Summit, one of the major yearly tech conferences, has awarded Archi’s Academy, a startup firm run by a Keralite, the Impact Startup Award.
According to a press statement issued on Tuesday, the award was given to the corporation for meeting two UN Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education and Gender Equality.
Archi’s Academy is a career accelerator platform based in the United States with a significant presence in Turkey, the United States, and India.
The organisation aspires to offer fresh graduates and professionals a career break, as well as a stepping stone into the current technological market.
The school provides hands-on training in software development, project management, product design (UI/UX), blockchain, and other disciplines, as well as soft skills. After that, the trainees are groomed and sculpted into employable prospects.
Archi’s achieves the purpose of Quality Education by providing learners with hands-on training and mentoring to enable them to reskill and upskill in order to improve their employability.
It also contributes to Gender Equality by giving women the opportunity to re-enter the workforce after a sabbatical.
“Getting recognized by the UN for Quality skilful training is a major milestone for Archi’s Academy. Also, bringing back moms to the workforce with proper skills training has been a vision for us from the beginning. Impact Startup award gives us more spirit to make people skillable, hirable, and employable,” says Thoufeeque Saheer, Founder and CEO.
