Indonesian e-grocery firm KedaiSayur secured Series A funding
An unknown amount of Series A investment has been secured by Indonesian agritech firm KedaiSayur in a deal that was led by Kejora-SBI Orbit and included participation from regional conglomerate Triputra Group.
When it was launched in 2018, KedaiSayur focused on assisting the nation’s vegetable hawkers to go digital with their operations. Since then, it has grown to include three business segments: the KedaiMart e-grocery app, the KedaiBiz business-to-business platform for buying groceries, and the KedaiVenture farmers management service.
The company claimed in a statement that it had helped more than 100,000 individuals and companies.
Adrian Hernanto, a manager at a division of the Triputra Group, founded KedaiSayur. One of its sponsors is East Ventures.
The business intends to utilize the new investment to strengthen partnerships with farmers and suppliers.
