Jaagruk Bharat raises Rs 1.5 Cr Pre-seed funding from AJVC

The civic-tech startup Jaagruk Bharat, which aims to provide government services, has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Aviral Bhatnagar’s early-stage venture capital firm, AJVC.
The money raised will be utilized to improve accessibility features on various platforms, increase partnerships with state and federal government agencies, and fortify product development. To increase the speed and dependability of benefit access, it will also concentrate on expanding its reach among underserved communities and enhancing system interoperability.
Jaagruk Bharat, which was founded by Akshit and Abhishek Goel, provides a user-friendly, multilingual interface that facilitates real-time tracking, application, and discovery for citizens navigating welfare programs and public services.
Through the company’s platform, users can easily find, apply for, and monitor government programs and welfare services, guaranteeing accountability and transparency at every stage.
Jaagruk Bharat is creating a citizen-first ecosystem that makes government interactions easier for people from a variety of socioeconomic and linguistic backgrounds by fusing automation, vernacular support, and accessible interface design.
High-potential Indian startups in the consumer, impact, and technology sectors are supported by AJVC. It recently revealed that the final close of its first fund had commitments of over Rs 200 crore, more than doubling its initial goal of Rs 100 crore.
