Mobility solutions startup Taxi’na secured Rs 1.5 Cr from Navyug Global Ventures

In a fresh round of funding, Navyug Global Ventures has contributed Rs 1.5 crore to the mobility solutions start-up Taxi’na.

According to a press release from Taxi’na, the money raised will be used to expand its distinctive, environmentally friendly ride-hailing business model, leveling the playing field for drivers and passengers and empowering contented micro-entrepreneurs in the industry.

Pinku Bharathi founded Taxi’na with the goal of revolutionizing the ride-hailing industry in India by implementing a zero-commission business model that guarantees drivers retain all of their profits while providing passengers with reasonable prices. The platform creates a sustainable mobility ecosystem, empowers drivers, and encourages transparency.

The Chennai-based business claims that it provides an opportunity similar to a franchise. Without any unexpected costs or deductions, drivers only need to pay a set monthly subscription fee to have unrestricted access to the entire Taxi’na ecosystem and technology. Drivers now have total clarity as the daily uncertainty surrounding take-home pay is eliminated.

The only platform with a letter of intent to provide auto services in Chennai, according to Taxi’na, is this one. At present, it operates in Chennai, Salem, Tiruppur, Erode, and Coimbatore, with more than 45,000 drivers and over 75,000 passengers.
