PB Fintech to acquire remaining 20 percent stake in MyLoancare

Policybazaar and Paisabazaar’s parent firm, PB Fintech, has been given the go-ahead to purchase the remaining 20% of its subsidiary. According to its exchange filing, MyLoancare Ventures Pvt Ltd for a maximum of Rs 5 crore.
MyLoancare would become a fully owned subsidiary of PB Fintech after the transaction. Cash consideration will be used to complete the transaction, which is anticipated to close by March 31, 2027.
The M&A and Investment Committee’s approval and the selling shareholders’ acceptance will determine the final acquisition price, which will be based on the valuation report.
MyLoancare is an RBI-registered NBFC that was founded in 2013 and is involved in financial product distribution, retail loan aggregation, and digital lending technologies. From Rs 8.7 crore in FY24 to Rs 82 lakh in FY26, the company’s turnover fell by 90.6%.
In addition, PB Fintech has authorized capital injections of up to Rs 10 crore for PB Wheels and Rs 1 crore for PB Financial Account Aggregator, two totally owned subsidiaries. The money will support PB Wheels’ working capital and operating costs as well as PB Financial Account Aggregator’s operating costs and RBI-mandated capital requirements.
In terms of finances, PB Fintech recorded a 92% YoY increase in profit after tax to Rs 163 crore in the first quarter of FY27. From Rs 1,348 crore in the same quarter last year, its operating revenue increased 40% YoY to Rs 1,888 crore.
