RentUp secures six-figure Pre-Seed funding round

Egypt: RentUp, an Egyptian PropTech startup, has raised a six-figure Pre-Seed funding round from Japanese private equity firm, Luqman Weise Capital which specializes in technology development and Fintech innovation.

Founded last year, RentUp is a property rental platform that uses AI-powered technology, allowing homeowners to manage their properties and tenants all in one place. It services both short and long-term rentals, with an objective to create a more mature, balanced, and experience-based real estate market in Egypt. Through the website, customers can list a rental and rent a home on the same network while reviewing and scoring their experiences.

Yahya Negm, Founder of RentUp commented, “In 2021, the platform will use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to provide a practical solution-driven experience to its customers. Expect RentUp to be a one-stop PropTech super-highway to the future of real estate in Egypt.”

The PropTech startup plans to use the investment to launch its new platform and continue with transforming the Real Estate sector.
