Rs 5 Cr Seed funding secured by agriculture drone startup Suind
Suind, a startup in agricultural technology, raised Rs 5 crore in its seed round, which was led by Sunicon Ventures and included Zetta Farms and other angel investors.
According to a press release from Suind, the company intends to use the money to boost technological development, increase the scalability of its AI-driven crop protection platform, and increase its market share in both the Indian and European markets.
Suind is a drone technology startup that was co-founded in 2020 by Kunal Shrivastava and Kevin Kleber. It enables agriculture by providing real-time crop monitoring and treatment. The company uses computer vision, data analytics, and drones to make an impact on crop protection.
The company, which has its headquarters in Bengaluru and Zurich, claims to be an expert in creating low-power artificial intelligence (AI) based on the vision for drones that can operate independently in difficult plantation environments like tea, rubber, and fruit orchards.
Aarav Unmanned Systems, BharatRohan, Dhaksha Unmanned Systems, and DroneAcharya Aerial are a few other prominent players in this market.
