To support global expansion, Taiwan’s BBTruck raised Pre-series A funding to over $6 M

The pre-series A funding round for Taiwan-based supply chain and logistics technology company BBTruck was successfully closed, increasing the company’s total funding to $6.5 million.

The round was led by Oasis Venture, H2U Corp., and StarWorks Entrepreneurial Venture Capital, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The announcement claims that this fresh round of funding will support BBTruck’s efforts to develop new products and hire top talent while also quickening the company’s global market expansion, especially in North America and Southeast Asia.

With its state-of-the-art technology, the company hopes to transform supply chain logistics and establish a comprehensive global logistics technology ecosystem.

“From day one, BBTruck envisions a global logistics technology ecosystem that ensures flexibility and efficiency. We are excited to have the support of such esteemed investors as we embark on this next phase of growth,

“This funding will enable us to enhance our technology offerings and expand our presence in key markets, allowing us to better serve our clients and fully transform the logistics industry,” said Steven Chou, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of BBTruck.

BBTruck is a business-to-business (B2B) supply chain logistics platform provider that was established in 2019 and provides accurate capacity allocation and calculation.

Over 50 foreign businesses in a variety of industries have benefited from the company’s services to date, including leading server providers, well-known Japanese automation and electronics manufacturers, a major Japanese international logistics brand, a global tire industry giant, and Taiwan’s best home delivery service.

It is reported that the inefficiencies in Taiwan’s logistics industry stem from the use of phone orders and manual processes, which frequently result in pointless return trips.

With its transparent logistics management platform that incorporates vital information on truck sizes, devices, real-time orders, capacity, and addresses, BBTruck fills this gap.

Customers can save a significant amount of money as a result of the firm’s platform, which uses big data analysis to automatically assign the most appropriate transport fleet, maximize the efficiency of logistics resources, reduce empty truck rates by almost 75%, and improve order placement and cargo tracking efficiency by more than 40%.

Furthermore, businesses can track shipments, view routes, and monitor capacity data using BBTruck’s real-time cloud data center, all of which are accessible through an easy-to-use interface.

Order placement, shipment tracking, and document retrieval are all made easier by the platform’s application programming interface (API) integration, which enables smooth data exchange across numerous carriers and freight companies.

The overall logistics experience is improved and labor costs are greatly decreased by this integration.

According to BBTruck, the company is committed to advancing sustainable logistics in keeping with the worldwide objective of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
