True Platform, a SaaS business located in Vietnam, has secured US $3.5 million in a seed round headed by January Capital, with participation from Alpha JWC Ventures, Beenext, and FPT Corporation, the country’s largest technological conglomerate.
True Platform, which was founded in 2021, expects to release two primary products later this year: the work collaboration platform Rework and the sales platform Success.
Hung Pham, the founder of SaaS startup Base.vn, which was bought by FPT Corporation for an unknown price last year, founded the company. Pham’s prior firm was also financed by Alpha JWC Ventures and Beenext.
Pham noted in a statement that the core of his new firm was disclosed with only a few VCs he had known for a long time. “We got an initial commitment of more than US $5 million in one month of talking. But US $3.5 million is well enough at this stage of the company,” he added.
True Platform intends to use the fresh funds to further product development.
