With the support of Nikhil Kamath and Axis Bank, Gruhas, the hospitality chain VRO Hospitality, which owns and runs F&B brands like Mirage, Hangover, Badmaash, Nevermind, and Tycoons, has raised $10 million in its bridge round.
Actress Mouni Roy, NB Ventures, Kunal Shah (Cred), and other participants took part in the round.
The startup had previously raised $3 million in September 2021 during a Series A round.
The most recent earnings will be put toward growing its business, accelerating the creation of new products, and fortifying its position.
VRO Hospitality, which was founded by Dawn Thomas, Safdhar Adoor, and Sharath Rice, runs 18 locations in Bengaluru that include multi-format eateries, cafes, and lounges.
In the midst of the pandemic, VRO also purchased food and beverage brands in Bangkok, including Fava, Café Noir, Plan B, Caperberry, and One Night. The company has also expanded into cloud kitchen brands, offering more than just burgers.
In Bengaluru, Ooty, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, the company runs 40 stores under ten different brands.
