CENTA raised Rs 20 Cr Series A1 funding from Colossa Ventures

Colossa Ventures led the Center for Teacher Accreditation’s (CENTA) Series A1 round, which raised Rs 20 crore ($2.33 million) with participation from angel investors and Discovery Assets, an existing investor.
The funds will be utilized to enhance its technological systems and expand in India and other markets.
CENTA was founded by Priyanka Arya and Ramya Venkataraman and offers teacher certification, upskilling, and teacher-as-a-service (TAAS), which links teachers with full-time and part-time employment. 100,000 schools and 1.7 million teachers from more than 100 countries are listed on the platform.
The UAE, Nigeria, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Ghana are among the nations where CENTA has users, although India is its biggest market. It is also establishing connections in the US and the UK.
The International Teaching Professional’s Olympiad is organized by CENTA, which has won honors from UNESCO, NITI Aayog, Dun & Bradstreet, and other organizations.
