WTFund for entrepreneurs under 25 launched by Nikhil Kamath

A non-dilutive, grant-based fund for entrepreneurs under 25 years old has been established by Nikhil Kamath, a co-founder of Zerodha.

The fund will help up-and-coming business owners and provide a full range of benefits, such as a non-dilutive grant of Rs 20 Lakh that will allow founders to keep all of their equity.

In addition, the WTFund will offer feedback opportunities, a thriving community via the WTF ecosystem, and operator-first mentorship pods.

For funding and mentoring over a one-year period, the fund will choose 40 entrepreneurs who are 25 years of age or younger. As per the statement, the chosen founders will be provided with assistance until they obtain their initial institutional funding.

Applications will be accepted by the WTFund starting on April 15 through its website. Those who are chosen for consideration will go through a screening process and be given assistance until they obtain their first institutional funding.

In October of last year, Kamath presented the fund on a podcast. The entrepreneurs will receive mentorship under this initiative from Kishore Biyani (founder of Future Group), Kamath, Raj Shamani (content creator), and Ananth Narayanan (founder of Mensa Brands).
