$4.8 M funding raised by mental health platform Atommerce
Lotte Healthcare and Samsung Venture Investment have contributed 6 billion won (US $4.8 million) to Atommerce, the parent firm of the mental health platform Mind Cafe.
According to the business, the most recent round brings Atommerce’s total capital to roughly $28.1 million USD.
Kyu-Tae Kim established Mind Cafe in 2015 to provide psychological therapy services over the phone and via video. According to the platform, there are around 1.5 million registered users.
The business caters to both consumers and businesses, and among its patrons are the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Samsung, Naver, and Hyundai. According to Atommerce, their employee mental health management programme is used by around 190 firms.
A hundred or so consultations from the service’s maiden trip outside of South Korea were uploaded after it recently started in Japan as well.
Atommerce intends to use the additional funding to develop its ecosystem and quicken international expansion.
