$850k Seed funding raised by Singapore-based Moom

A venture fundraising round headed by DSG Consumer Partners brought in S$1.2 million (about $850,000) for the Singapore-based healthtech company Moom. Love Bonito, a Singapore-based retailer of women’s clothing, and Nuguru, a wellness brand incubator founded by RedMart’s founding team, also participated in the event.

Moom, a company that was established in June of last year, provides supplements for women that can be used as a stress reliever, a sleep aid, a hair and skin treatment, and more. For its goods, it collaborates with health experts who also aid in the creation of questionnaires to ascertain consumers’ requirements.

Mili and Maya Kale, sisters, founded the business and bootstrapped it for more than a year before seeking outside capital. Their prior experiences with endocrinological issues and hormonal acne, respectively, served as the inspiration for Moom. The creators were aware that many ladies who could be dealing with comparable problems would have trouble locating the vitamins they want.

Moom intends to utilize the additional money to broaden its product offering, grow retail presence, recruit more staff, and enter new markets.
