Emerald Leisures receives Rs 1,050 M private credit investment from Lighthouse Canton

With more than $6 billion in assets under management, Lighthouse Canton, a multinational investment firm, has closed a Rs 1,050 million private credit investment in Emerald Leisures Limited thru the LC Luminere Credit Fund, its Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) based in India, and related companies.
Club Emerald, a multi-sport, hospitality, and recreational destination in Mumbai, is owned and run by Emerald Leisures, a leisure and hospitality firm listed on the BSE.
Long-term funding will be provided by the investment to support Emerald Leisures’ expansion goals. The facility, which is structured as secured non-convertible debentures, is supported by specific liquidity events, escrowed cash flows, promoter support, and the company’s operating cash flows.
The transaction adds to Lighthouse Canton’s private credit portfolio in India, where it provides structured financing solutions to established businesses. Through its India private credit platform, the firm offers capital solutions tailored to the financing requirements of businesses across sectors.
