Neuromod Aqua raises Pre-seed funding led by Sportskeeda founder Porush Jain

Porush Jain, the creator of Sportskeeda, has contributed pre-seed capital to Neuromod Aqua, a water infrastructure business based in New Delhi.

The unknown funds would be used by the company to construct a factory-made platform for decentralized sewage and effluent treatment.

Anuj Arora and Anand Dad founded Neuromod Aqua in 2026 with the goal of creating modular wastewater treatment facilities utilizing MBBR, MBR, and SBR technology. The organization is concentrating on standardizing treatment plant design, production, installation, and maintenance.

The startup intends to complete its first commercial deployments, build a manufacturing facility, develop and evaluate its productized sewage treatment system, and enhance its process engineering and service skills.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, India produces about 72,368 million liters of sewage per day, with installed treatment capacity of 31,841 MLD and actual treatment of about 20,235 MLD. According to a 2025 CEEW research, India might require an extra 70,000 MLD of treatment capacity by 2047.

Neuromod intends to create a network of services and replacement parts while completing its production facilities and initial deployments in Delhi NCR over the course of the following year.

Additionally, it will grow into applications for demineralization, reverse osmosis, water reuse, zero liquid discharge, and effluent treatment.
