Sneaker brand Zaydn raises $681K Seed funding from IPV

With cooperation from BeyondSeed and other angel investors, Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) led the $681K seed investment round for homegrown shoe company Zaydn.
According to a press release from Zaydn, the additional funds will be utilized to increase working capital, scale inventory and production capacity, accelerate growth across D2C and important markets, and invest in product development, brand building, technology, and team expansion.
Ankit Dass founded Zaydn in 2022, and Vidushi Chaudhary later became a co-founder. The local shoe company specializes in making accessible, comfortable, and design-driven footwear for Gen-Z customers. The brand wants to make high-end-looking sneakers available to Indian customers through its in-house manufacturing capabilities and digital presence.
The Delhi-based brand addresses the gap between aspirational sneaker designs and accessible pricing for Gen-Z consumers. It offers trend-led, expressive sneakers with premium-looking construction at mass-premium price points.
Zaydn offers sneakers with a wide toe box, lightweight TPR soles, dual cushioning, memory foam insoles, and breathable uppers designed for everyday wear.
According to market research, India’s sneaker market was valued at roughly $3.2 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $4.49 billion by 2030, growing at nearly 6% annually.
Brands such as Comet, Gully Labs, Neeman’s, Thaely, Banjaaran, and Bacca Bucci are building differentiated products while expanding across online and offline channels.
Gully Labs raised Rs 8.7 crore in seed funding in 2025 and followed it with a Rs 30 crore Series A round in January this year, led by Saama Capital. Comet previously raised a $5.08 million Series A round led by Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. Neeman’s and Thaely have also attracted venture backing.
