Rs 250 Cr impact-focused venture fund launched by TILT

The/Nudge Foundation’s impact-first investing platform, TILT, based in Bengaluru, has established a Rs 250 crore startup fund to support early-stage companies catering to India’s Next Billion.
With check amounts ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 16 crore, the fund will primarily invest from Seed to Series A.
TILT will make investments in companies that use science and technology in the fields of agriculture, market access, employment, MSMEs, informal labor, climate resilience, employability, financial inclusion, and AI-led livelihood solutions.
The fund’s goal is to give patient funding to companies that might need longer time to develop sustainable business models, products, and distribution. In addition to providing finance, TILT will assist portfolio companies through collaborations, market development, ecosystem infrastructure, and research.
In addition to entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists including Deep Kalra, Amit Gupta, Hari Menon, Binny Bansal, Raj & Indra Nooyi Family Office, and Vidit Aatrey, the fund is supported by the Livelihood Impact Fund.
Richa Singh and Atul Satija launched TILT, which expands on the eight years of social entrepreneurial work done by The/Nudge Foundation.
Over 190 social enterprises have received funding from The/Nudge, which has awarded grants totaling about Rs 180 crore. Through its investments and ecosystem activities, TILT hopes to influence 100 million lives. Over the next 15 years, it intends to support 150 startups.
