Oppex AI raises Rs 4.2 Cr Pre-seed funding from Info Edge Ventures

Info Edge Ventures led a pre-seed fundraising round for Oppex AI, an AI-native platform for industrial processes, that raised Rs 4.2 crore.
According to a news release from Oppex AI, the additional funding will be used to expand the workforce, speed up product development, and scale customer installations.
Oppex AI, which Prasun and Pranit Kumar founded in June of last year, creates an AI-native platform for production operations with the goal of switching from human-led to AI-led issue management. In order to comprehend production issues and automate incident response, its agentic platform integrates context from observability, customer support, cloud infrastructure, internal runbooks, and other enterprise systems.
By creating an AI-powered solution especially for manufacturing operations, Oppex AI tackles the expanding production bottleneck. The business wants to enable engineering teams spend more time creating products and less time fighting fires by automating and streamlining the identification, investigation, and resolution of production events.
The company wants to make sure that quicker software development doesn’t come at the expense of dependability, user experience, or trust by developing an AI layer for production. Organizations would be able to fully reap the rewards of AI-driven software development as a result.
According to the Bengaluru-based startup, business clients in the US, UK, EU, and India are embracing its platform. As it strives to create AI-led industrial operations, it intends to bolster its agentic platform and broaden its capabilities.
Production settings are getting more complicated as AI speeds up software development and boosts deployment velocity. Agentic systems that can combine signals from logs, metrics, infrastructure, applications, and internal knowledge bases in order to determine the underlying causes and suggest or carry out remedies are becoming more and more in demand.
