Upstage, a Seoul-based artificial intelligence firm has announced a Series A investment round headed by SoftBank Ventures Asia and Company K Partners for a total of US$27 million. Other investors that participated in the fundraising round were TBT Partners, Premier Partners, Stonebridge Ventures, and Primer Sazze Fund.
The cash will be used by the firm to hire “a big number” of AI specialists and engineers in order to speed up the development of its “AI Pack.”
Upstage, based in Seoul, makes it simple for businesses to use AI solutions that standardize and automate essential processes. The company is working on an integrated AI solution called the ‘AI Pack.’
