KaHa, a Singapore IoT firm acquired by boAt
Imagine Marketing, the parent company of the wearables brand boAt, has acquired KaHa, a Singapore-based smart IoT product development firm.
Imagine Marketing will be able to expand its wearable product solutions in terms of idea, design, electrical firmware, algorithm development, Android/iOS apps, new feature integration, social engagement, and analytics as a result of the purchase.
Imagine Marketing will be able to expand its smart and holistic health wearables ecosystem as a result of this acquisition.
KaHa, which was founded in 2015, specialises in IoT device development. Through proprietary AI and ML capabilities, end-to-end smart wearable solutions (hardware and software), and data-driven smart IoT platforms, it offers a technology-focused platform for wearables, delivering solutions and analyses for a variety of use cases.
KaHa has built its own IoT platform, COVE. COVE offers consumers actionable knowledge and tailored experiences across a number of consumer sectors, including health & wellness, sports & fitness, digital payment, and safety, thanks to its built-in artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. Electronics design, printed circuit board assembly, iOS and Android application frameworks, cloud services, data analytics, and smart after-sales service tools are all part of the platform.
Singapore, China, and India are all home to KaHa.
