$3.7 M Series A funding raised by pet care startup ZumVet

In its series A fundraising round, Singapore-based firm ZumVet garnered US $3.7 million.

Pentepebble Holdings joined the round, which was jointly headed by Quest Ventures and Pine Venture Partners.

In Southeast Asia, ZumVet provides self-administered diagnosis and treatment programs as well as remote care choices with the goal of making pet care more accessible and inexpensive. Additionally, the website offers customers access to digital medical data and services for the delivery of medications for their dogs. This includes online consultations with veterinarians.

With the additional funds, it will quicken the process of going digital, broaden the scope of its services to include more species, and investigate new markets.

“We are making it easier for caretakers to make better health and wellness-related decisions for their animals,” said Athena Lee, co-founder and CEO of ZumVet, in a statement.

The seed round for ZumVet, which was sponsored by Pine Venture Partners and closed in 2019, was seven figures. ZumVet was founded in 2019 by Lee and Grace Su.
