$1.2 M Seed funding raised by indie game publisher TIC
A seed round headed by Cocoon Capital and other investors secured US $1.2 million for The Iterative Collective (TIC), a Singapore-based indie game publisher.
TIC, which was founded in 2019, serves independent game creators by offering a disciplined method for developing and publishing self-published games through its staff and network of business mentors.
Around 50% of independent PC games have lifetime revenues of less than US $4,000, despite projections for the PC and console gaming sectors to reach US $104 billion by 2026. By providing resources and support to skilled developers, TIC claimed it hopes to overcome this problem.
The Signal State, TIC’s first game, has thousands of paying players and has become a cult favorite. During PAX East 2023 in the US, the firm will display its existing and forthcoming titles.
With the support of the initial money, TIC will be able to increase its publishing and marketing skills and assist game creators in making hit games.
