Oneistox, an edtech startup, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding from Y Combinator, Powerhouse Ventures, and Soma Capital as well as angel investors including Deepak Menon and Amit Ranjan.
The Gurugram-based company raised an undisclosed amount in its initial seed round in September 2021 from Powerhouse Ventures and Y Combinator. This is the company’s second seed round.
Oneistox, a company founded in 2021 by Harkunwar Singh, Vipanchi Handa, Mehul Kumar, and Chaithanya Murali, provides AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) professionals with courses and upskilling programs to help them create industry-relevant products.
By bridging the gap between conventional AEC education and the quickly changing technological landscape, Oneistox aims to equip students to become professionals who are prepared for the future. Along with courses and programs, the platform also provides computational design and building information modeling (BIM).
A two-year-old company claims to have more than 50 workshops with more than 1,000 participants and to have grown 30% month over month over the past twelve months. Competitors of Oneistox include Delhi-based Notesgen, Gradeup, and other companies.
