IPV led Rs 11.5 Cr Bridge funding received by hyperlocal grocery service provider Dusminute

With participation from banker Bandana Kankani, the hyperlocal grocery store, and managed services company Dusminute has raised Rs 11.5 crore in a bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures.

The funds will be used to fuel Dusminute’s expansion in Bangalore, according to a press release from the company.

Apoorva Mishra, Ankita Asai, and Nikhil Gupta co-founded Dusminute in 2019 to offer grocery delivery to people living in gated communities. By collaborating with developers and Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), the company implements an omnichannel strategy and provides a superstore on the property of the community that sells a variety of goods, including produce, groceries, bakery goods, snacks, and even a pharmacy.

The business’s mobile app streamlines home deliveries and provides a wide range of value-added services, such as painting, deep cleaning, pest control, etc., to create a comprehensive real solution for residents’ needs.

According to Dusminute, its omni-channel model, which combines a superstore and superapp, and its niche focus on apartment complexes set it apart, offering convenience and addressing concerns about product quality and delivery time. According to the Bengaluru-based company, it currently serves 35 apartment communities and has plans for a dozen more.
