EdTech startup NativeX raised $4 M Seed funding from Ansible Ventures, Blueprint Ventures

In just eight months since its founding, the EdTech company NativeX, based in Vietnam, has raised $4 million in total capital.

In a statement released last Friday, NativeX stated that it has completed its seed round for an additional $2.5 million after raising $1.5 million from angel investors in June 2023 using SAFE instruments.

Ansible Ventures and Blueprint Ventures are leading the round together, with participation from Northstar Ventures and additional investors.

Before expanding to other Southeast Asian markets, NativeX claimed that with this sizeable investment, it will be in a good position to carry out its goal of revolutionizing English learning for 10 million busy working professionals in Vietnam.

Looking ahead, NativeX intends to expedite product development with the use of eighty percent of the seed money.

In addition to soft skills training, the company plans to introduce a new conversational English program for intermediate-level users in June.

NativeX intends to work closely with information technology (IT) engineers to create an ecosystem supporting their success in the global outsourcing IT market, in addition to assisting the local workforce in taking advantage of better employment opportunities in the FMCG and services sectors.

The company’s distinctive content-led approach to curriculum design and learning experiences, which guarantees scalability and consistency in teaching quality as they scale, was highlighted by Ai Chau, Co-Founder and Head of the Academic team.

NativeX was established in April 2023 with the goal of providing a comprehensive online platform to change the way working adults in Vietnam acquire English.

The company thinks that knowing English well is essential to helping working professionals reach their full potential in the workforce, especially for local tech talent looking to compete in the global tech labor market.

This platform offers flexible scheduling options to fit in with working professionals’ busy schedules and features live classes taught by qualified foreign teachers.

NativeX is unique in that it offers a flexible group class model that lets students schedule classes around their schedules.

Learners with similar proficiency levels are grouped to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
