The Moms Co. completely acquired by The Good Glamm Group
Platform for content-to-commerce The Moms Co. has been fully acquired by The Good Glamm Group, according to the announcement.
This follows the Group’s announcement that the Sirona deal was completed and that it had increased its stake in Organic Harvest and Winkl, two other portfolio brands.
After the Good Glamm Group paid cash and stock for the majority of The Moms Co. in October 2021, the company’s founders partially left, while investors like DSG Capital and Saama Capital fully left. Over the past two years, the Good Glamm Group has completed a 100% acquisition of the founders’ remaining shares.
Important aspects of The Moms Co. have been incorporated into the Good Glamm Group’s operations during the last three years. The founders left their daily positions last year after running the company for a year after the acquisition, giving the central teams of Good Glamm Group complete control.
With the help of the Good Glamm Group’s content-creator-commerce flywheel, The Moms Co. claims to have experienced rapid growth since the acquisition.
Additionally, the brand has gone global, opening stores in the UAE at Carrefour and Lulu. and is currently getting ready to enter more foreign markets.
In 2021, Good Glamm Group raised $250 million to become a unicorn. By Diwali 2025, the company intends to go public.
