Alumni engagement platform Vaave raises Rs 6.6 Cr maiden external funding

Under the leadership of Raj Narayanam (RAN Ventures, founder & executive chairman of Zaggle) and Aditya Vuchi (VCMint), Vaave, an alumni engagement and networking platform, has raised Rs 6.6 crore in its first significant external funding round.
The Hyderabad-based business was founded on its own and has received support from friends and a few angel investors thus far.
Expanding into new markets, improving product offerings, and solidifying its category leadership in alumni networking are all planned uses for the proceeds.
Founded by Paresh Masade, Yasaswy Peesapati, and Jaipal Reddy, Vaave’s business strategy is centered on offering corporates and educational institutions subscription-based SaaS solutions to boost engagement and strengthen alumni ecosystems.
In addition to powering 35 corporate alumni platforms for businesses like Tata Steel, Deloitte, Virtusa, and Bosch, it collaborates with more than 1,200 institutions in 28 countries, including IISc, IITs, IIMs, NITs, and IIITs.
Platforms that concentrate on alumni engagement worldwide, such as Almabase, Graduway, and Hivebrite, compete with Vaave.
