Orby AI and Autonom8 acquired by Uniphore

Uniphore, a platform for conversational automation, has purchased Orby AI Inc. and plans to purchase Autonom8 Inc.
The company claims that both teams contribute experience and demonstrated creativity to push the limits of business AI by bringing in top AI research and engineering talent from DeepMind and Google.
Orby contributes sophisticated AI models, neuro-symbolic reasoning, robust research experience, and instruments for identifying intelligent processes. This is enhanced by Autonom8, which focuses on implementing these innovations in companies, transforming innovative concepts into useful outcomes.
“Our customers are betting their business models on Al-enabled transformation, with Business Al Cloud at the core. With the addition of Orby and Autonom8, Uniphore will welcome world-class research and engineering talent and breakthrough AI capabilities that elevate our ability to orchestrate complex workflows,” said Umesh Sachdev, CEO and co-founder of Uniphore.
With a comprehensive, decomposable AI stack that includes agents, models, knowledge, and data, Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud opens up the agentic enterprise. Orby and Autonom8 technology integration will speed up the automation of intricate business processes that require accuracy, judgment, and reasoning.
Uniphore purchased ActionIQ and Infoworks, two data companies, in December.
A Mint report claims that Uniphore is negotiating a $250 million round of funding. In February 2022, it raised $400 million at a valuation of $2.5 billion, marking its most recent funding round.
