Satellite RF intelligence startup Xovian Aerospace raises $2 M from Ashish Kacholia

In a strategic investment round headed by Ashish Kacholia, satellite RF intelligence startup Xovian Aerospace has raised $2 million.
In August of last year, the Bengaluru-based company raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Piper Serica and TurboStart, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Eaglewings Ventures.
According to a press release from the company, the additional funds will be utilized for satellite development, growing its engineering and artificial intelligence teams, and fortifying commercial alliances.
Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma co-founded Xovian Aerospace in 2019, which is developing RF satellite infrastructure driven by AI. Its platform generates actionable intelligence in real time by capturing and analyzing radio frequency signals from space.
Predictive insights are made possible by the company in a number of industries, including infrastructure, defense, aviation, maritime, and climate. Its RF-based method can identify hidden or obscured activity by decoding dynamic signals into intelligence that is ready for decision-making, in contrast to traditional satellite systems that depend on optical data.
By utilizing the underutilized RF spectrum, Xovian Aerospace hopes to overcome the shortcomings of current satellite systems in the face of growing climate volatility and geopolitical threats. Its platform combines GEOINT and SIGINT to provide governments, businesses, and humanitarian organizations with real-time situational awareness, asset monitoring, and predictive insights.
OrbitAid, InspeCity, and Sisir Radar are some of the other startups in this field.
