Defense tech firm Tsecond.ai raises $21.5 M from MSN Holdings

MSN Holdings, the family office of Manish Nuwal, MD and CEO of Solar Industries India, has led the funding of Tsecond.ai, an edge AI and data infrastructure startup, which has raised over $21.5 million (roughly Rs 190 crore).
The investment, which has been spread over several rounds over the last two years, will help the business expand its defense and mission-critical AI infrastructure.
Tsecond.ai, which was founded by Sahil Chawla, creates edge compute and data systems for use cases in enterprise, aerospace, and defense. High-speed data collection and AI processing are made possible in settings without cloud connectivity by its flagship platform, BRYCK.
Its systems are currently being used in defense programs in the US, UK, Europe, and India, among other markets.
Building infrastructure for real-time data processing in remote and disconnected settings—where conventional cloud-based systems are impractical—is the main goal of Tsecond.ai.
Tsecond.ai works with startups like IdeaForge, which creates UAVs for surveillance, and Tonbo Imaging, which creates cutting-edge imaging and sensor systems for defense applications, in India’s expanding defense and edge AI ecosystem. Other players include Craic Precision, which focuses on AI-enabled battlefield systems and edge computing, and Zuppa, which is developing real-time AI systems for drones.
