Boundless Ventures led Rs 5 Cr Pre-seed funding raised by Lytmus AI

In a pre-seed fundraising round headed by Boundless Ventures, Lytmus AI, a Bengaluru-based business creating AI mentors for competitive test preparation, has raised Rs 5 crore.
According to a press release from the company, the new funding will be utilized to improve the startup’s AI capabilities, speed up product development, and increase student acquisition, with an initial concentration on the NEET category.
Ajit Kumar and Praveen founded Lytmus AI in 2024 to create AI tutors for competitive test preparation. The platform creates AI mentors that answer questions in real time and assist students in their learning process by combining teachers’ subject-matter experience with persistent memory and contextual comprehension. With an initial emphasis on NEET, it is currently accessible on mobile devices.
The startup claims that their platform functions on two levels. While the application layer preserves memory and context for every student to customize the learning experience, the infrastructure layer is educated on the teaching styles of subject matter experts to enable AI mentors to successfully explain ideas.
The organization feels there is a substantial demand for individualized academic support during exam preparation because more than two million candidates register for NEET each year.
Over 16,000 students have used Lytmus AI’s platform in the last ninety days. The company claims that pupils who use its AI mentor practice up to three times as much per day as those who do not.
The firm faces competition from companies like Infinity Learn, Unacademy, Arihant, and Physics Wallah.
