Dovetail Capital raises Rs 100 Cr Series A funding from Elev8 Venture Partners

In a Series A round headed by Elev8 Venture Partners, independent asset servicing company Dovetail Capital raised Rs 100 crore in a combination of primary and secondary funding.

According to a news release from Dovetail Capital, the profits would be utilized to grow its international operations.

Dovetail Capital is an independent asset servicing company that was co-founded in 2017 by Dev Sampat, Mahesh Shekdar, and Vivek Singhania. It offers third party fund management (TPFM), fund administration, derivative clearing, investment advisory, and compliance services to foreign portfolio investors, alternative investment funds, family offices, insurers, mutual funds, and algorithmic funds.

The company, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, is present in GIFT City and has regulated entities in Singapore, Mauritius, and Dubai (DIFC). The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), and the International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA) oversee it.

Market study indicates that in May 2026, the average assets under management (AAUM) of mutual funds was Rs 83.5 trillion.

Elev8 Venture Partners is a growth stage venture investment business that was founded by Navin Honagudi in 2022 with the goal of supporting India’s top technological startups. The company makes investments in rapidly expanding companies in a variety of industries, including enterprise technology, consumer, SaaS, fintech, and mobility.
